Bento is a single-portion takeout or home-packed meal common in Japanese cuisine. Eversince I discovered bento-ing 3 years ago, I’ve been on the look out for cute bento stuffs but I was having a hard time finding bento accessories in the Philippines because bento making is not popular here. Most japanese stores here don’t carry bento tools and accessories. I got excited when I heard about Saizen store ( Daiso) opening at Trinoma and everything in the store is priced at Php85 . Saizen is the authorized Philippine retailer of daiso-Sangyo Inc., Japan. Daiso is the largest franchise of 100-yen shops in Japan.
I’m interested in making cute bento lunches and snacks for kids. I’ll try to post pictures of my bento meals next time. Making bento is great for kids who are fussy eaters. Anyway, here are photos of the bento stuffs I bought.
